Mystique marks new territory for Divine Martyr on multiple levels. One, it is our first foray into creating instrumental music, and two, it is the first time we have incorporated live strings into our studio work (courtesy of our new, multi-talented vocalist Olivia Guetle). This song is a product of the lockdowns dating back to 2020, and was allowed to develop very organically over the past two years. We feel that we have captured this song at its full, rightful maturity, and are incredibly excited to share it with the world. We hope you enjoy it!

Conceived in late 2015 by bassist Woody Hughes, and first realized in the flesh in the summer of 2016, Divine Martyr is the product of a collective love for Jesus, and a common appreciation for great, symphonic metal in the vein of Nightwish, Kamelot, and the like.
