Divine Martyr's first foray into instrumental metal, Mystique also marks the debut of live studio cello courtesy of new vocalist Olivia Guetle. In development for close to two years, Mystique was not explicitly intended as an instrumental, but when presented to the band by drummer Mark McKowen, the song took on a life of its own, and developed organically into what lies before you today. Inspired in large part by the great modern Hollywood composers like Shore, Zimmer, and the like, Mystique quickly became a favorite of the band, and we are please to share it with the world now.
